The Stanforth Conway is the ultimate sports tourer. It is designed for touring at pace; a speedy trans-continental tour or a weekend road trip. The bike was launched in January 2018 and on on the 11th May 2018 it became a world record breaking bike when Sean Conway set the fastest time for crossing Europe unsupported.  

 

It is constructed in the UK using Reynolds 853 steel, has bosses for front and rear racks and mudguards, and has clearance for wider tyres than both a regular road or cyclocross bike. All of the frames are built to order so geometry is customised to best fit you.

The hand built fillet brazed frame gives the right combination of strength, weight and comfort. The bike is powered by a Shimano 105 transmission and TRP Spyre disc brakes provide the stopping power. As with all of our bikes components can be customised and upgraded.

The Stanforth Conway is a collaboration between cycle manufacturer Stanforth Bikes and adventurer Sean Conway to produce a quality steel bike for performance or sports touring with light baggage.
