This frameset comes with a choice of a threaded steerer for a quill stem (1") or a threaedlees steerer (1 1/8") for an ahead stem.
It's designed with clearance for 35mm tyres with mudguards, or 45mm without mudguards.
The frame's relatively long chainstays (445mm) and steel frame make this the ideal companion on a long distance loaded road trip, both strong and comfortable.
The frames are lugged for optimal strength, but the frames can also be fillet brazed. We offer both an ahead and quill version.
It is finished in Dusk Blue. The frames are double powder coated for increased durability and longevity.
All of our frames are finished to a high standard. This includes facing the top and bottom surfaces of the headtube, reaming the head and seat tubes as well as facing the bottom bracket shell.
The frame and forks will come with a Tange Levin 1" threaded headset or the Tange Levin J27 Technoglide 1 1/8" threadless headset, a seat bolt, Reynolds decals and a pewter headbadge. Please let us know when ordering if you would like the STANFORTH decal lacquered onto the downtube.
