An ex display Skyelander 650b complete build.


Frame and forks are Renolds 631 with Reynolds 525 stays. The 22" lugged frame was built by legendary framebuilder Lee Cooper.


This bike has only been ridden 5 miles at the most...







  • We usually only sell the Skyelander 650b as a frameset but here we are selling a complete build w have used for display purposes.


    The Skyelander 650b is a British made touring bike hand built by one of England’s top framebuilders, Lee Cooper.


    The lugged frame is built using air hardened Reynolds 631 for the main frame. The stays are Reynolds 525. The forks are Reynolds 631.


    The frame size is 22" (BB to top of seat tube). Top tube - 555mm, fork rake - 58mm, head angle - 72°, seat angle - 73°. For any other measurements send us an email.


    This Skyelander has a threaded steerer for a quill stem.The Skyelander 650b has clearance for 42mm tyres with mudguards or 48mm without mudguards.


    This Skyelander comes equipped with a Sugino triple chainset, Deore front derailleur, XT rear derailleur, Dura Ace bar-end shifters (9 speed), TRP RRL SR drilled hole levers, and Nitto Randonneur bars finished with Selle Italia bar tape. 


    The bike is fitted with Paul Components touring cantilevers. The wheels are handbuilt using Veo Orange 650b rims on Novatec hubs, with Compass 42mm skinwall tyres and Schwalbe inner tubes.


    This particular bike also includes a Velo Orange front rack as pictured.


    It is finished in Dusk Blue. The frame is double powder coated for increased durability and longevity.
